This is such an easy activity for all your students- here are a few ideas.
Students working on attending skills (school readiness): - Students can pass out the paper or the materials (paper clips) - Students can join a group and work on turn taking and/or school communication - Students can practice following a model or making numbers/lines/colouring in the box - Students can put out paper clips
Students working on basic number sense: - Students can graph objects that are 1-10 paper clips in length - Students can skip count by 2's to count objects - Students can practice using math language in group conversations
Students working at grade level: - Students can complete task in pair or individually - Students can lead small groups - Students can measure objects using paper clips - Students can guess how long objects might be and then measure them - Students can skip count by 2's, 5's, and so on.....
