Weality Wednesday: Student highlight

This girl is amazing!!! Just when you think she is going in one direction, she stops, blows you a kiss, and runs in the other 💖

She is amazing. I have taught her for two years now and for two years she has kept me on my toes. She is caring, helpful, and full of mischief🤣

I have learned about the importance in patience from little miss S. For two years, she never once said my name, let along requested the bathroom. To be honest, she would just grab my arm or run.

BUT that changed today.... She came up to me after recess and looked at me and said ‘Cumming pee’ and walked to the bathroom... she said my name and requested the bathroom!!!! Wowowkw- 2 years, but she did it. The celebration we had all day was awesome.... so awesome she did not stop saying my name!!!


By the end of today this little monkey was so pumped she sat at her desk and worked independently- another first!!! 
We are less than two weeks away from summer holidays, and she demonstrated something else.... in her time.👍👍😘

I know we are so excited for summer and so excited to relax..... but don’t give up! Don’t start taking down your classroom because the end is near. You never know when one of your kiddos will have a moment to shine!!
